Toronto's theatre community celebrated the 35th Annual Dora Mavor Moore Awards outside on Monday June 23rd at Harbourfront Centre's WestJet Stage.

The Dora Mavor Moore Awards are produced and presented by the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) and celebrate excellence in Toronto theatre, dance and opera. A total of 48 Dora Awards plus the Silver Ticket Award, and the Audience Choice Award were given out for the 2013-2014 season.

Soulpepper's Of Human Bondage took the top spot (General Theatre Division) with seven awards including Outstanding Production, New Play, Direction, Performance-Ensemble.

Canadian Stage also earned seven awards with six for London Road (Musical Theatre Division) including Outstanding Production, Performance-Male, Performance-Ensemble, Direction, Musical Direction.

Young People's Theatre's Sultans of the Street swept the Theatre for Young Audiences Division with five awards.

Canadian Opera Company took home all four Doras in the Opera Division:two for Peter Grimes and two for Roberto Devereux.

Outside the March lead the Independent Theatre Division with three awards including two for Rosamund Small's Vitals (Outstanding Production, Outstanding New Play).

VideoCabaret's Trudeau and the FLQ also earned two awards (Outstanding Performance-Male, Outstanding Costume Design).

DanceWorks dominatated the Dance Division with three Doras including two for Gotta Go Church (including Outstanding Performance-Female). what we are saying from Harbourfront Centre's World Stage also earned two (Outstanding Production, Outstanding Performance-Ensemble).
