Victoria Bégin

Much of Victoria's childhood was spent watching musical classics on video—namely The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins. However, it was a school trip to see The Phantom of the Opera at age 12 that left Victoria completely spellbound by live theatre, thus beginning a lifelong love of live performance. In 2003, in high school, Victoria saw My Fair Lady in Stratford starring Colm Feore as Professor Higgins and cites this as a major highlight of her theatregoing experience. A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with a BA in communication studies as well as a postgraduate certificate in marketing management from Humber College, Victoria is thrilled at the opportunity to combine her love for writing with her love for theatre as a writer for Theatromania.
